Jeffrey Sung, CFA, Managing Director
Jeff is a Managing Director at Method Advisors. In addition to his investment priorities, Jeff leads the firm’s business development efforts, including strategic development, fundraising, and the cultivation of underlying partnership relationships. He has ten years of investment experience, including work valuing publicly and privately held companies, evaluating traditional and alternative investment managers, and advising institutional clients representing more than $9 billion of assets. He has worked in all aspects of investment management, including strategic asset allocation, manager selection, and due diligence on traditional and alternative asset classes.

Jeff began his career as an investment banking associate at Advest. Subsequently, he was a relationship manager with Wellington Management, and then an equity product manager with State Street Research before consulting for Meketa Investment Group.

Jeff received an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia. A veteran of the United States Army, he has completed Airborne and Ranger Schools and served in Korea and then with the 82d Airborne Division. He received an undergraduate degree in History and Asian Studies from Cornell University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Jeff has spoken at the Private Equity World Middle East/North Africa conference in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on the US private equity market.
